The year was 2008, I was having a cheeky Nandos on a Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend, as one does, and I bump into two of my comedy idols, Richard Ayoade and Chris Morris.
I freeze with fear when I see them enter the restaurant, I feel my forehead getting sweaty, but I pluck up the courage, go up to them and say “Hi guys, I’m a big fan of your work” in a shaky voice. They were both very friendly and Chris’ son took a photo of us together.
I know, the arm around Richard was probably a bit much, but I was and still am such a fan.
