Fear (2020) – 50 cm x 50cm – Acrylic paints on canvas
Inspired by the famous shower scene in the 1960 Hitchcock classic ‘Psycho’ I wanted to recreate a simple black and white version with a red background as contrast, representing danger, horror, fear, gore and blood.
I wanted to capture the fear on her face and my intention is for the viewer of this piece to really see the emotion, almost as if you can see and hear a visceral scream.
