Fear (2020) – 50 cm x 50cm – Acrylic paints on canvas
Inspired by the iconic shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 classic, “Psycho,” I aimed to recreate a simple black-and-white version with a contrasting red background, symbolizing danger, horror, fear, gore, and blood.
I sought to capture the terror on her face, intending for the viewer to not only see but feel the emotion, almost as if hearing a visceral scream.
