Bruno 1-8 – 21 cm x 14.8 cm – Pen and ink on paper
I was inspired to use pen and ink as it reminded me of drawing as a nine year old at primary school. I drew a piece of artwork featuring a Victorian man riding a penny farthing bicycle that was bought by some one at a little exhibition we had. It wasn’t my parents who bought it either!
My mentor Rory Walker told me to have fun with these drawings, just let go and play around with different styles. This was the result. Bruno 2 is my favourite piece, the reference photo was Bruno peering behind my laptop when I was trying to work, vying for my attention, he’s so adorable!
